Author visits can encourage and supplement literacy programs.
It is a wonderful opportunity to inspire creativity, expression and discovery.
Jacqueline enjoys school visits and has presented to school groups as large as 400. As a qualified workplace trainer and assessor she is committed to providing an inclusive and optimal learning environment. Her sessions have been developed to nurture imagination, a sense of adventure and wonder for all the world has to offer.
Jacqueline has been part of numerous literary events including the Canberra Writers Festival, the NSW Kids & YA Festival, the Noted Festival and events organised through The Children’s Book Council of Australia. She has toured her books internationally.

School Visits – Kindergarten, Primary and Secondary
Duration & Group Size: Sessions run for 45-60 minutes. Jacqueline is flexible with the size of groups.

The Charlie’s Adventures… school pack is a delightful substitute to an author visit. They are perfect for schools located in regional areas.
The pack includes a personally signed copy of the book along with extensive teaching notes and activity sheets. The packs have been designed to encourage learning through exploration, with an emphasis on cultural awareness, geography, values and mindfulness.

Manuscript Assessment Service
Have a first draft but don’t know how to improve it? Looking for support to strengthen your manuscript?
After many requests from aspiring authors to read their work, Jacqueline now offers a manuscript assessment service.
Jacqueline is not a publisher but she is able to provide useful feedback to help get your story ready for submission.
Jacqueline will present you with a detailed feedback sheet with constructive suggestions on your plot, structure and characters. She will comment on basic grammar and spelling, however it is always recommended that before submitting to a publisher you engage the services of a proof-reader or editor.
Cost of Service
Picture Books – up to 500 words – $100
Chapter Books – up to 5,000 words – $300
Novels (adult/children) – up to 10,000 words – $600
