It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
When December rolls around I can’t help but start singing all the classic Christmas tunes. December is such a magical month. If you have been following my blog articles, by now you would know how much I adore the festive season. I love everything about Christmas. I love that Christmas seems to cause joy, hope and laughter to infectiously spread around the world. For me, Christmas is a time of gratitude. I often slow down and reflect on the year that was. Looking back on an often roller coaster of a year I am able to see how much I have learnt, grown and evolved. There is so much to be thankful for, from the new friendships I have formed, to quality time spent with those dearest to me, to dreams coming true, to adventures had, the list goes on and on. When you look back, the magical moments of the year truly sparkle.
The magic of Christmas is further enhanced with the glimmer of a bright New Year on the horizon. After looking back I am compelled to look forward. During the month of December I dedicated a significant amount of time to resetting. I wanted my energy to be dazzlingly clear for 2019. I set new goals and aspirations for the year ahead. I made a commitment to myself to make this year the best yet! I know there will be moments that will challenge me but I am determined to breathe through them and enjoy the ride. Being surrounded by the magic of Christmas I feel that anything is possible, you just need to surrender and believe.
2018 has pulled me in all sorts of directions, there have been moments that truly broke me and moments that will remain as beautiful life-changing memories. Reviewing the year that was, I can see it has been a foundation year for me. There have been extraordinary doors that have opened, doors that I hope to audaciously walk through in the New Year, with a fearless belief in magic and possibility. 2018 has provided the basis for my 2019 to take shape. I can’t wait for what is to come.
With Christmas wishes to be made and miracles to experience, I want to take this opportunity to thank those who have supported me this year. It has been a tremendous year. I truly appreciate your kindness, generosity and encouragement. I have definitely needed it along the way and I am beyond grateful. May you all have a magnificent Christmas, enjoy the festive season with those dearest to you and don’t forget to believe in a bit of magic.
